After Showcolumbus turned out to be such a great success. I ran into a stumbling block. I could not figure out what project I wanted to venture out to next. I wanted to do something big, something exciting, something that is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I started to brainstorm, and then a bright light came on. I decided that I wanted to do PR work for the BET Hip Hop Awards. Luckily, your girl has connections. (Just no PR job) I contacted my PR mentor over at BET, and let her know that I was interested. She sent me the materials that I needed to be a volunteer, and that was it. I sent in my application, my photos and my resume. Two weeks later, I got the confirmation that I was selected. I was heading to Atlanta to be a PR escort for the awards. I was so excited!
