These shoes are incredibly hot!! How about a few pair of these to step up your summer/spring collection? So here's the scoop because y'all know I always have a story. I was searching for some super sexy shoes to wear out this summer. Since I attend a lot of networking events, industry parties, fashion shows, etc - I cannot express the importance of having a variety of hot shoes. I went to google to search for trendy shoe boutiques and of course one of my favorite shopping sites ASOS popped up. I entered the site and selected about 8 pair of shoes that I absolutely loved and noticed that all the shoes were made by the same designer: Stutt Couture. I left the ASOS website to find more designs by Strutt. I found their website http://www.struttcouture.com/ and I was amazed at all the beautiful shoes they have. It is no surprise that these shoes have caught the likes of Madonna, Victoria Beckham, Angelina Jolie & Gwen Stefani. They are very costly - but hey whats wrong with having 1 or 2 pair of hot shoes to make you outshine everyone else. (LOL)!! Seriously - To me there is nothing better than having a couple pair of entrance making shoes in your closet.

Victoria's Secret Handbag Collection - Who knew?
Lately, I have been looking for a spring "it" bag of my own. I have been having such a hard time because all of the purses that I find are either extremely cheap looking or way out of my price range. One thing about me is that I have very expensive taste that I cannot afford. Another issue with me is that with handbags and shoes, my taste changes so quickly - that I may purchase a bag one week and then the next week I am ready to carry something else. So I vowed to myself that I would never spend over $100.00 on a handbag unless its something that I really want and will carry for a substantial amount of time.
I went to the Victoria's Secret Website to look at some spring clothes. My friends and I are going to Las Vegas and I want some cute, comfy clothes to wear. While I was searching the catalog, I decided to take a look at their handbags and Oh boy! I did not know Victoria's Secret sold such cute handbags. All of them are not designed by VS - but they sell some really cute ones. My absolute favorite (and the one I am going to purchase) is the Hype Stachel bag. It retails for $135.00 - but I am not going to pay that. I am on a hunt to find someone with a VS discount - so that I can purchase that one and the other 3 that I want!!

Rated Next: Imju Fiberwig Mascara
One day I was searching around the Internet to find a new mascara. I love my Bad Girl Lash Mascara - but sometimes you just want a change.
I went to read some of my favorite beauty blogs and I read some pretty good reviews on Fiberwig Mascara. A mascara that is very popular in Japan, because it actually paints fake lashes on to your own lashes. I was curious to find out whether this product actually worked. I went to the local Sephora store here in Columbus and to my surprise they were all sold out. I was disappointed, yet excited at the same time - because to me - if its sold out that's a pretty good sign. I went to a party in Cincinnati later that weekend and I ended up purchasing it at a Sephora location there. Let me tell you all - I could not be happier with my purchase. The instant that I put it on - you could tell the difference. My eyelashes not only appeared longer, but fuller. You have to go and buy some for yourself!!
About Imju Fiberwig Mascara: Fiberwig is the top-selling mascara in Japan - beating the competition with remarkable, "false eyelash-like" results. What it is formulated to do:Engineered to create the perfect lashes with twice the amount of micro-fine interconnecting fibers, the instant drying formula creates a long lasting film coat around your natural lashes. Fiberwig imparts a perfect, smudge-proof maximum lash extension effect with a water-resistant formula that's easy to remove with warm water, without risking damaging or losing your natural lashes. What else you need to know:A jet-black fiber film coats the surface of each lash with long-lasting, clump-free, lash lengthening color that's resistant to tears, sweat, and oil.

LL Cool J's Lips finally paying off
Rap superstar LL Cool J is in negotiations to represent popular lip balm brand, Chapstick. The negotiations are part of a brand extension strategy for artists LL Cool J and 50 Cent, which is being launched by Violator Artist Management. According to industry trade magazine Brand Week, both LL Cool J and 50 Cent are seeking to leverage their popularity as celebrities, through various endorsement deals. "It's an obvious fit. LL has been licking his lips for 20 years," Lighty told Brand Week. "They'll get to speak to people who normally would not pick up Chapstick."
In addition to his possible deal with Chapstick, LL is seeking to endorse a vitamin supplement to capitalize on his popularity in the fitness/training market, since his book LL Cool J's Platinum Body hit stores in Dec. 2006.
Violator client 50 Cent is in negotiations with Glacéau Vitaminwater to star in the company's first national TV ad campaign. 50, who will appear in a new nationwide print advertising campaign for Vitaminwater, is also an investor in Glacéau. The rapper will release a new energy drink this year, following the debut of his grape flavored Vitaminwater energy drink, Formula 50. 50 Cent is also executive producing LL Cool J's 13th album Exit 13, which hits stores in May. 50 Cent's album Before I Self Destruct is slated to hit stores in June.

Eva Longoria chosen for Bebe Sport Campaign
Eva Longoria is the new face of Bebe Sport.
Things just seem to be getting better for the stars of Desperate Housewives. They have a PC game; dolls being made in their likeness and now Eva Longoria has scored a two-year contract as the first ever spokesperson for Bebe Sport. The ads will be launched on billboards and in magazines this March and are the company’s first ad campaign.
Bebe Sport is an extension of the Bebe brand and was launched in 2003. Bebe Sport’s tagline is “Where Fashion Works Out” and certainly by the appearance of it’s line of sportswear, Longoria’s look fits in perfectly. Bebe Sport’s top’s and bottom’s definitely put a sense of style into workout wear, making it entirely possible to even wear some of the outfits out running errands without looking too underdressed.
Now there are no excuses for going to the gym looking frumpy.

Let me Introduce you to - Cheap Monday Jeans
Wow, this might just be the sexiest jean I have ever seen. Cheap Monday strives to make designer jeans that are edgy and affordable. The Tight Blue Wash jean is a great casual wash and a terribly sexy fit. Fits super tightly from top to bottom, almost like leggings! The rise is also a bit lower than the other Cheap Mondays. 98% Cotton and 2% elastic ensures that it doesn't stretch out on you. Very flattering, even if you've been shy of trying out the skinny jean trend. Three different inseams help make a better fit for you.

Daymond John, Owner of Fubu releases new book
Display of Power: How Fubu Changed a World of Fashion, Branding and Lifestyle
Daymond John, founder and CEO of pioneering urban clothing line FUBU is releasing a new book titled Display of Power: How FUBU Changed a World of Fashion, Branding and Lifestyle. The book details John's personal rise to the top of the fashion world behind the FUBU brand and what it takes to make it in the corporate world. O.J. Simpson, who is currently grabbing headlines as excerpts from his fictional confession If I Did It hit the press, is also chronicled in John's book. In an excerpt published in the New York Post, John recounts a bizarre incident in which Simpson crashed a video shoot. "Karrine Steffans was on the set dancing up a storm, and Ludacris had a chain with handcuffs on them, and O.J. started really getting into it, rubbing up against Karrine, putting the handcuff necklace on, really mugging it up for our cameras. He started talking about how he knew handcuffs really well. Wow! O.J. in our video with Karrine shaking her booty on him! What a sight!" High Waisted Jeans are back. The days of butt exposing, thong-baring, low-waisted jeans are over. At New York Fashion Week last month, designers showcased high-waisted jeans with the sexiest designs ever.
Personally, I love the look. The first time I seen a pair was in Kelis' "Bossy" video. I thought they were so sexy. I called and told my mother that I wanted and a pair and she told me that she used to wear them back in the 80's and they were very flattering to her curvy figure. She even said that after she gave birth to me, she still wore them and they flattened her stomach and emphasized her waist.
A few weeks later I flew to Los Angeles to attend the BET Awards. While shopping, I found a pair of the jeans in a trendy boutique inside the Beverly Center. I was so excited to wear them and when I got home and showed to them to my boyfriend, he thought it was a funny joke. Needless to say, I was afraid to put them on - I did not want to be laughed at. Of course - I was excited when I seen them on the Ciara "Promise" video and again during NY Fashion Week.

Spring's Hottest Accessories
This spring fashion is not just about what you wear, but how you wear it. So it is very important to understand how to accessorize your outfits. I have compiled some of the hottest accessories for spring.....
(1.) The Bangles are back - but this year, the key is texture. So be sure to pick bangles with plenty of rhinestones, wood & animal print.
(2.) Shades - This season is all about funky frames and oversized lenses. So be sure to pick something fun with lots of color and style.
(3.) Oversize Bags - This is going to be my favorite part of spring fashion. I love to carry big, huge bags. Build your collection with soft, unstructured shapes in all sorts of textures and colors.
(4.) Wide Belts - This seasons belts are full of colors and crazy designs.
(5.) Wedge & Kitten Hill Sandals
MAC & Barbie join forces
ESTEE LAUDER'S MAC COSMETICS BRAND has teamed with toy company Mattel, and the two are poised to launch a Barbie line of MAC cosmetics. Here's the kicker. The line is intended for adults, and comes with its own limited-edition MAC-themed Barbie doll.
The kitschy Barbie color cosmetics line is due on beauty counters and in MAC stores by mid-February in North America, and globally in March. The launch is not slated at this time to be a permanent fixture in the MAC collection--but rather a limited edition available for two to three months. The line is also doubling as MAC's spring color collection.
Until now, Barbie cosmetics and Barbie perfumes have all targeted young girls either for play or as an introduction to toiletries. MAC's effort, however, is the first bona fide Barbie line for adults--and one marketed within an adult, urban umbrella brand.
MAC has long been positioned as the makeup brand for every gender and every skin type and color. It's probably best-known for Viva Glam lipsticks--its best-selling lip color for which all of profits are funneled into AIDS--as well as periodic ads featuring unlikely celebrities such as flamboyant entertainer RuPaul and Elton John.
Unlike the more conservative neutrals common to brands such as Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and even Clinique, the new MAC collection will largely consist of bright pinks and other Barbie-esque spring colors, like green.
The line consists of several shades of lipstick, glosses, eyeliners, shadows, blushes, nail polishes, and even mascara and makeup brushes--and of course, a black and pink makeup bag.
Prices range from $10 for the nail polish to $20 for the powder and $45 for the makeup brush. Beyond the bright colors, other Barbie features include the hot pink and black packaging bearing Barbie's silhouette, and a Barbie image debossed into the actual eyeshadows.
Mattel and MAC have also collaborated on a MAC Barbie, which will retail for $35 and be sold as a limited edition in MAC's freestanding stores, but not in department stores.
Traditional advertising is not in the works. However, a product microsite will promote the line in February, accessible through maccosmetics.com and barbielovesmac.com. Other marketing support will include certain MAC free-standing stores temporarily redecorated as Barbie bedrooms, and beauty reps dressed in Barbie-themed T-shirts.
While a Barbie cosmetics line for adults may seem childish, there has long been a large contingent of women in their 20s, 30s and 40s who continue to adore the doll they played with as children, and also actively collect Barbie dolls.
Mattel continues to roll out Barbie collectors' series dolls--with many variations that only adults could truly understand and appreciate. These cost much more than the standard dolls, often retailing for more than $100. They include Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra (and other characters), Diana Ross by Bob Mackie, Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's (and others), Barbie as That Girl (as in the 1960s sitcom starring Marlo Thomas), another series of Bob Mackie fashion Barbies (with dolls sporting glamorous dresses designed by Mackie, who is best known for dressing Cher and Carol Burnett)--and most recently, a Diane von Furstenburg Barbie that sports the designer's signature wrap-style dress.
Mattel is also planning a Hilary Duff Barbie for 'tweens, due on shelves shortly.

Spring & Summer Beauty Trends
A season of contrasts sees subtle shades and shimmers sitting side-by-side graffiti neons and power pigments on the make-up stands. Skin no longer needs to be sunkissed, as porcelain and peachy tones cross seamlessly from winter to summer, lifted with highlights and shimmer. Sixties style continues to make headlines with black-rimmed eyes and nude lips, while 80s-inspired pigments allow for a bolder take on spring/summer beauty.
Metallics
When fashion takes a trip into the future, beauty follows.
Metallic shades of make-up suit every skin – gold and bronze wow on warm tones while silver gives ice-queen edginess to cool complexions.
Give a flash of sparkle by applying metallic mascara to the end of lashes or line the eyes with a softly shimmering surround.

Monochrome:
White-washed skin and a black-lash backlash sees monochrome going mainstream.
Blanking down features defines rather than highlights, using shades and shadows rather than contrast to create interest.
Where shine can look trashy, matte is truly modern.

Neon:
Acid neons are ideal for the adventurous, but they don't only need to be for the beauty brave.
Splashes of graffiti inspired colours give added interest to nails. For a bolder look experiment with pinks and oranges worn on the lips and blues and greens on eyes.

Body Makeup Tips
Spring is coming up real fast. I just realized that today is the first day of March and I have 20 days till the season officially begins.
I have already started dieting and working out and I am seeing some results. However, I can't lie to yall some of these other body imperfections - the stretchmarks, freckles and all that other stuff has got to go FAST.
I called my mother (my favorite beauty expert) and she gave me a list of great body makeup products. But we all know that purchasing the product is only half the battle. The real battle is applying it and making sure that it looks real. I searched the Internet for some body makeup tips and I found some really good tips from Tyrone Traylor makeup and beauty expert from I-Village.
Check it out:
With today’s revealing styles and naked legs, more and more women are using body makeup to cover up spider veins, freckles, nicks and bruises. (Don’t we all bump our legs constantly?) You may also want to use body makeup to even out your skin tone on your chest, legs, back or arms. If this is the case, remember that arms should match legs, and neck should match chest and back. It’s okay to use a sheer leg makeup (such as MAC’s Face and Body) a shade darker than your leg color if your arms are a little tan and your legs aren’t; but your legs should not be darker than your arms.
The key to making body makeup look real is: a) matching the color of your skin, and b) "setting" the makeup with powder. When covering a specific area of your skin that you would like to conceal, such as an age spot or spider vein, you need an opaque cream-based product for complete coverage. I love Dermablend (available in department stores) because it gives outstanding coverage and the people at the counter can help you find the right shade. When you buy the body makeup, don’t forget to always buy the clear
powder that is made to be used with it. Powder sets the makeup so that it won’t come off or smudge your clothing.
Applying the makeup is easy: Pat the concealer on the area you want to cover with a latex sponge, and blend into your skin; pat powder over makeup using a powder puff (you want to really saturate the area with powder); then brush off any extra powder with a wide, fluffy
powder brush. Dermablend sells a powder made specifically to "set" the color. By applying their products properly, you’ll have a finish that is nontransferable (won’t rub off) and waterproof. You will need an oil-based remover to clean the makeup

Beyonce premieres 2 new videos on 106 & Park
Last night I was sitting at home flipping through the channels on the TV, when my boyfriend called me and said Beyonce was doing a world premiere of 2 new videos on 106 & Park. The first thought that came to my mind was - OK. so she must be dropping 2 videos to compete with Jennifer because Jennifer was just on 106 & Park. Now don't get me wrong - I am Beyonce's #1 fan. But - this Beyonce & Jennifer Hudson thing is driving me nuts. A part of me believes that Beyonce is competing with Jennifer Hudson and that makes me kinda upset because Beyonce is the ULTIMATE superstar. However, I think someone else should be able to get the spotlight. I love Jennifer Hudson, she is a great artist, a great actress and I think she has a phenomenal future ahead. But, I don't think she will take anything away from Beyonce- so I don't feel that their is any need to compete. I kept thinking to myself " Come on B" I hope you are not dropping 2 videos to keep this competition thing going. But when I saw them my jaw just dropped. "WHOA" Very sexy.. Very Hot. You did it again B. Once again you made me realize why you are the ultimate and why you can drop 2 videos on the same day and noone can say anything but DAMN.
